Hanoi, on 8th September 2025, the working delegation of the Ministry of Construction led by Comrade Tran Hong Minh, Member of the Party Central Committee – Secretary of the Party Committee – Minister of Construction, visited and worked at Viglacera Corporation – JSC. Also attending the working session there were Deputy Minister Nguyen Viet Hung, the representatives of Departments and Divisions of the Ministry of Construction. On the Viglacera side, there were Mr. Tran Manh Huu – Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Corporation, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan – General Director of the Corporation, and the entire Board of Directors of Viglacera.

During the working session, the Ministry of Construction delegation grasped the situation of production and business activities, the development strategy orientation of the Corporation, and listened to Viglacera’s recommendations so that the construction industry can develop more comprehensively, strongly and sustainably.
Representing Viglacera’s leadership, Mr. Tran Ngoc Anh, Deputy General Director of Viglacera, presented a report on the achievements of Viglacera in recent times. The report focused on breakthroughs in the application of high technology in the production of construction materials, especially green materials, energy-saving products in line with the trend of sustainable development.
Regarding the real estate sector, Mr. Tran Ngoc Anh also introduced the outstanding successes in the field of industrial park development, attracting many large foreign investors, actively contributing to the socio-economic development of localities, and Viglacera’s efforts in developing social housing.

Accordingly, Viglacera is an enterprise with more than 51 years of construction and development history, currently consisting of 41 subsidiaries, affiliates, and joint ventures investing in Cuba.
In the field of industrial park infrastructure investment and development alone, Viglacera has nearly 30 years of experience, with a total of 17 industrial parks domestically and abroad, a total land bank of more than 5,000 hectares, attracting more than 450 investors, with about 20 billion USD in FDI capital from electronics, industrial – high-tech corporations.
In addition, Viglacera is the investor of 18 residential–urban projects and 01 five-star resort. Particularly, the Corporation has always pioneered and made efforts in developing social housing. Up to now, Viglacera has completed investment in 8,000 social housing apartments; prepared a land bank with full legal conditions to immediately build about 10,000 new apartments; at the same time, it is preparing investment and assigning investors for 2 social housing projects in Hanoi with a scale of 10,000 apartments. By 2030, the Corporation strives to complete investment and put into use at least about 20,000 social housing and worker housing apartments. Many Viglacera social housing projects have been recognized as “Livable Projects”.
Viglacera is also a leading enterprise in building materials production, with 31 factories covering fields such as high-quality construction glass, ceramic tiles, sanitary ware, clay bricks, and autoclaved aerated concrete. Notably, Viglacera is among the Top 20 ceramic tile producers in the world; Top 27 sanitary ware producers in the world.

After listening to Minister Tran Hong Minh praising the Corporation for its many achievements in recent years, especially recognizing the good results of implementing the 2025 production and business plan.
Minister of Construction Tran Hong Minh emphasized: The achievements Viglacera has achieved during the past time are very valuable, affirming its outstanding capacities in production, business and investment activities, demonstrating the vision and strategic development orientation of the Corporation.

The Minister said: With the achievements obtained, in the coming period, Viglacera needs to focus on building and developing a stronger and higher brand; ensuring a well-being life for officers and employees.
Viglacera Corporation needs to promote its reputation and experience to expand industrial park infrastructure projects throughout the country; focus on seeking and developing new land funds, implementing green and smart industrial park models, creating a difference and attracting large-scale FDI.
Continue to promote investment in worker housing and social housing in sync with the development of existing industrial parks, as well as new key projects under the program assigned by the Ministry of Construction.
Innovate new materials following the green, resources-saving and emissions-reducing trend
At the working session with the Ministry of Construction, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, General Director of Viglacera Corporation, reported to the Minister: “If we are able to participate in large projects such as airport systems, urban railway stations, key projects, etc., it will not only protect the materials industry from pressure from foreign goods, but also help enhance Vietnamese brands, creating motivation for businesses to continue to invest in innovation and sustainable development.”
Regarding the recommendations of Viglacera Corporation – JSC, Minister Tran Hong Minh expressed his support for this recommendation and assigned the functional units under the Ministry to study and consider working closely with enterprises, promptly resolving difficulties. The Minister also supported the use of construction materials products of reputable manufacturers in projects such as train stations, airports and key national projects, because with good quality, reputable branded products, competitive prices, it is worth spreading in typical projects of Vietnam.
According to the Minister, only when domestic materials are associated with specific projects will they create a widespread effect, and Vietnamese brands will be elevated. “Regarding this, the Ministry of Construction will definitely accompany and stand side by side with businesses, thereby protecting sustainable benefits for the country”.
