On the morning of October 26, 2023, at Dong Mai Industrial Park (IP), Quang Yen town, Quang Ninh province, Viglacera Corporation – JSC organized the sign installation ceremony at the Worker and Expert Housing Project with a scale of 980 apartments and the Grand Opening Ceremony of the one-stop support center for social housing projects for workers in Dong Mai Industrial Zone – Celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Quang Ninh Province’s establishment (October 30, 1963 – October 30, 2023).
Attending the event were Mr. Bui Van Khang – Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Quang Ninh province and representatives of leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, and People’s Committee of Quang Ninh province; leaders of departments of Quang Ninh province; leaders of the Quang Yen Town’s People’s Committee; Representatives of Department of the Ministry of Construction; leaders of Viglacera Corporation – Joint Stock Company along with local authorities and people.
The investment project to build housing for workers and experts in Dong Mai Industrial Park is a key social housing project of the province. When put into use, the project will provide 980 social housing apartments, equivalent to more than 5,000 accommodations for workers and nearly 100 experts, contributing to attracting human resources and creating development momentum for Dong Mai Industrial Park and the surrounding areas.
The worker housing project in Dong Mai IP starting construction in March 2022, with a total investment capital of 645 billion VND. Viglacera Corporation has focused resources on investing in the construction of technical infrastructure and works of the project. Up to now, the technical infrastructure system has been basically completed (levelling, roads, rainwater drainage, wastewater drainage, water supply, lighting, green trees…); in land plots CT1 and CT2, there are 05 6-storey apartment blocks, with symmetrical architectural solutions, modern lines, and harmoniously arranged landscape to ensure traffic connection, combined with other utility areas to serve residents such as children’s playgrounds and sports, creating a lively living space.
In the land plot TH and CC, kindergartens and public services are arranged, ensuring full amenities for education and community activities for residents, meeting the needs of stable, long-term housing and living for workers, ensuring social security and at the same time serving as a premise for expanding the scale of existing industrial parks as well as investing in new industrial parks in Quang Yen town in particular and Quang Ninh province in particular.
On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of Quang Ninh province establishment (October 30, 1963 – October 30, 2023), with the attention of the leaders of Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee, Fatherland Front of Quang Ninh province, and provincial departments and agencies, People’s Committee of Quang Yen Town, in October 2023, Viglacera Corporation completed investment and put into use 03 apartment blocks in plot CT2 (corresponding to 380 apartments with the area from 26.3 square meters to 67 square meters, serving the housing needs of workers and experts in Dong Mai Industrial Zone). This is an important milestone when the project was honored with the Sign installation ceremony to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the province’s establishment.
Viglacera Corporation will continue to focus resources to invest in building the project on schedule, completed in 2025, serving the life needs of workers and experts working in the area.
