On the morning of March 3, at Kim Chung New Urban Area (Dong Anh District, Hanoi), the Joint Venture of Hanoi Housing Development and Investment Corporation (Handico) and Viglacera Corporation – JSC solemnly held the groundbreaking ceremony of CT3 Project – belonging to the Kim Chung Social Housing Project (Dong Anh – Hanoi). The project is also called Thang Long Green City.
Attending the event, on the side of the Ministry of Construction, there was Mr. Nguyen Van Sinh – Deputy Minister of Construction and representatives of functional Departments and Offices. On the side of the Hanoi City Party Committee, there was Mr. Tran Sy Thanh – Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee; Mr. Duong Duc Tuan – Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee and representatives of Departments, Branches, and functional agencies of the city and Dong Anh District.
The image of two senior leaders from the Ministry of Construction and the Hanoi People’s Committee shaking hands and expressing their trust in the Handico – Viglacera joint venture for the city’s largest social housing project marks the official beginning of a new phase in the development of Hanoi’s social housing fund. It is known that this year, the City plans to complete 8 projects with about 4,670 apartments and start 6 new projects with more than 10,200 apartments. The City will also approve the investment policy for 6 new projects, expected to add around 10,500 apartments to the housing supply in the coming years.
To kickstart this journey, full trust has been placed in two exemplary and leading enterprises in the development of policy-based housing.
