Viglacera Corporation – JSC was recently honored among the Top 17 Pioneering Sustainable Development Enterprises in Vietnam’s Construction Industry 2026, in the Industrial Real Estate category, at the Vietnam Sustainable Construction Forum 2026 (Vietnam Sustainable Construction Forum – VSCF 2026). This is well-deserved recognition of Viglacera’s steadfast commitment to its green growth strategy, while reaffirming the Corporation’s pioneering role in building a sustainable ecosystem of building materials and real estate in Vietnam.

The forum opened on July 16 in Hanoi under the theme “Shaping Vietnam’s Net Zero – Reinventing for 2050,” sponsored by the Ministry of Construction, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), and the Hanoi People’s Committee. The event brought together over 500 delegates, including leaders from state regulatory agencies, professional associations, experts, financial institutions, and the domestic as well as international business communities across construction, building materials, and real estate. As one of the trailblazers pursuing a green growth roadmap, Viglacera partnered with the Forum across various activities, from engaging in thematic panel discussions to receiving prestigious honors at the event.
VSCF 2026 Forum: Shaping the Net Zero Roadmap for the Construction Industry
The forum aimed to establish a clear development roadmap for the construction sector on its journey toward the Net Zero 2050 target through key focus areas: scaling up green building practices, transitioning from green projects to low-carbon urban areas, decarbonizing the construction industry across Southeast Asia, and synchronously advancing the three core pillars of materials, technology, and finance.
Viglacera Participates in the Panel Discussion “Synergizing Green Transition, Shaping a Net Zero Future”
Addressing the question of what will serve as the single greatest competitive advantage for Vietnamese building material enterprises over the next 5–10 years, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Huy affirmed: the primary competitive edge will not lie solely in product quality, but in the capability to deliver green material solutions accompanied by transparent data on emissions and operational performance, simultaneously satisfying international standards such as LEED, EDGE, LOTUS, and Green Mark, alongside increasingly rigorous ESG demands from the market.

Alongside product development, Viglacera is also pioneering the development of green and smart industrial parks: modern technical infrastructure, digitized and intelligent management systems, clean energy utilization, and a strategic framework toward eco-industrial parks, circular economy, and carbon emissions reduction, coupled with advanced wastewater and emission treatment systems. Occupational health and safety inspection along with environmental protection efforts have been maintained stringently across its industrial parks and production plants over the past 20 years. This comprehensive model serves as one of the critical drivers behind Viglacera’s recognition in this year’s Top 17 pioneering enterprises in sustainable development.
