On October 4, 2023, the seminar on investment promotion in the Cuban market was successfully held, with nearly 100 domestic enterprises in different fields interested in Cuban investment participating.
The seminar on investing in the Cuban market was organized by Viglacera Corporation in cooperation with the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI). Present at the meeting were the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba to Vietnam, the representative of Vietnam’s Cuban trade, and the Secretary General of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry. At the seminar, representatives of Vietnam and Cuba shared information about ViMariel Industrial Park (IP), as well as the sectors that Cuba attracts investment, the investment environment, the preferential policies in the Vietnam-Cuba trade agreement, especially the government’s preferential policies for Vietnam.
This seminar attracted the interest of nearly 100 Vietnamese enterprises in energy, power equipment, consumer goods, furniture, agriculture and other fields. Enterprises continuously give questions about market, investment policy, ViMariel IP and the government’s preferential policy for Vietnamese enterprises. In addition, many investors have shown special interest in the potential, advantages and development opportunities of investing in ViMariel IP.
ViMariel Industrial Park is the first industrial park to be invested by foreign enterprises in Cuba.
