With a scale of 216.17 hectares and a total investment of over VND 2,325 billion, Green One is oriented to become the province’s first high-tech industrial park, developed under a green, smart model, integrating modern manufacturing infrastructure with ecological space and synchronized utilities.

The groundbreaking of Green One marks a new step in Viglacera’s industrial park infrastructure development strategy, while contributing to realizing Hung Yen province’s orientation of developing modern, high-tech industry and logistics. In the context where regional linkage and supply chain shifts are increasingly focused, the project is expected to create more attraction for high-quality investment capital flows, promoting the formation of a cohesive manufacturing ecosystem in the Northern region. Attending the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Manh Quyen, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Hung Yen Province, along with members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Leaders of the Provincial People’s Committee, Provincial People’s Council, Leaders of Gelex Infrastructure JSC, leaders of Viglacera Corporation, as well as associations, investment promotion organizations, and major customers of Viglacera.

According to the 1/2,000 scale construction plan approved by the People’s Committee of Hung Yen province in May 2025, Industrial Park No. 01 has a total area of 258.82 hectares, divided into two investment phases. Phase 1 has a scale of 216.17 hectares, an operation duration of 50 years, invested by Viglacera Hung Yen Joint Stock Company, with a total registered investment capital of VND 2,325.68 billion.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Le Quang Hoa, Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Hung Yen province, emphasized: “Green One Industrial Park will directly contribute to the province’s socio-economic growth in the last months of 2026 and subsequent years. Provincial leaders affirm that they will continue to reform administrative procedures, remove difficulties, and create favorable conditions for the investor to implement the project; simultaneously requesting Viglacera to focus resources, accelerate the completion of infrastructure, ensure quality, technical connections, and environmental requirements, proactively promote investment, attract high-tech enterprises, and gradually form research and development centers.”

Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Director of Viglacera Hung Yen JSC, stated that Green One is oriented to develop into a synchronously and modernly invested industrial park, meeting the requirements of domestic and international investors, with the goal of rapid growth associated with sustainable and environmentally friendly development. The developer commits to focusing resources, implementing the project on schedule, completing synchronous infrastructure, and creating a favorable foundation to attract large-scale enterprises.

Practice at Viglacera’s industrial parks shows the effectiveness of synchronized infrastructure investment and accompanying businesses.

Mr. Park Hyeon Su believes that Green One Industrial Park will provide a stable and favorable investment environment for domestic and international enterprises, and hopes that Anam Electronics will have the opportunity to expand its manufacturing site here.

Aiming at a green, smart industrial park model, Green One allocates 30.47 hectares for greenery and water surfaces, accounting for 14.09% of the Phase 1 area; arranging a minimum 10m-wide green isolation strip. The centralized wastewater treatment system has a capacity of 4,000 m³/day, combined with a 4,000 m³ emergency response reservoir and separate rainwater and wastewater collection systems.
The project is planned with a clean water supply capacity of 8,500 m³/day from Da Trach Water Plant and power from the 110/22 kV Ly Thuong Kiet 3 Substation, capacity 2 × 63 MVA. Concurrently, Green One is oriented to apply a smart operation system, security cameras, automated lighting, connection to the Viglacera IOC Operations Center, encouraging rooftop solar power and efficient resource utilization. These solutions contribute to improving operational efficiency, gradually meeting Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria.

Green One prioritizes attracting semiconductor, electrical – electronic, precision mechanical, automation, and high-tech supporting industries. According to the planning, a minimum of 30% of industrial land area is reserved for high-tech, information technology, R&D, and innovation projects; while allocating a minimum land fund of 20 hectares or 5% of the industrial park area to receive small and medium enterprises, and high-tech enterprises.

Located near Yen My intersection, adjacent to the Hanoi – Hai Phong expressway and connecting with provincial roads 382, 382B, Green One easily links with Hanoi, Northern industrial hubs, and Hai Phong international seaport. The traffic advantages coupled with synchronized electricity and water infrastructure create conditions for enterprises to optimize logistics, access human resources, and expand production.
Besides manufacturing infrastructure, Green One integrates the “Production – Settlement – Utilities” model, with an 8.5-hectare social housing area for workers, a 1.8-hectare expert accommodation area, and functions for research, development, vocational training, and technology testing. Once completed and reaching the planned occupancy rate, the project is expected to create jobs for about 15,000 workers.
With the orientation of attracting high-tech, synchronous infrastructure, and a green, smart development model, Green One is expected to become a new investment destination in Hung Yen, contributing to improving capital flow quality, promoting sustainable industrial development, and creating a driving force for local socio-economic growth.
